New Business Plan (Step One)

So I'm finally getting myself up to gear, and starting to learn how to sell myself (much harder than it sounds), by starting up the old website. But this time, I'm actually MAKING a website, not just something to play with, and say "oh yeah, I did that" but something with the means of having a lucrative way of selling my work. So I'm going to start making merchandise- so I not only start posting myself as a "freelance artist for hire", but as someone who can make fun things for people to buy too.

Below is my new logo, I'm going to feel it out for a short while, and then I move onto business cards and other paper product things to sell C.K (not Calvin Klein) productions by.

Keep your eyes out in the next few weeks, for what comes next in this new business plan of mine.

-Ciao

Malifadesa Busts (2011)

So, it has been awhile since I have had internet, and what with moving and everything else starting up these days, I have decided to take it abit slow... BUT, now I'm beginning to get back into the swing of things- new inspirations, new ideas. School just started however, so if there IS a lag, do not fret- I will begin again real soon.

Enjoy!

(2010) In Progress Sketches...

Though I have been in the process of moving, and rearranging my life- I have been inspired to draw more often. These are just two main projects I've been working on- and now that I have my computer back, I'll be able to finish them up in no time. But this is simply a sneak peak.
Enjoy.

(2010) Playing with Watercolor...

So a few experiments with color and watercolors, and then taking pictures of the pieces (because I don't own a scanner) at the wrong angle... *shrugs* But what you gonna do with laziness.

(2010) Figure Drawing Final

For our final Figure Drawing Assignment at SCAD, we had to find a Master Study to create a Linear Analysis, a Skeletal Analysis, a Master Copy, and finally our own study using the Master Study as inspiration.

Below is the Master Study of
Eakins, Thomas The Swimming Hole (1885)

Thomas Eakins (1844-1916) was – until Pollock – the great American artist. Born in Philadelphia, he had studied Velazquez and Rembrandt in Europe, and pursued Realism with scientific rigour. He learnt from Muybridge's photographs of bodies in motion. A great believer in the living model, he lost his teaching job after allowing mixed life-classes to draw a male nude. His greatness was largely posthumous.
